Concert Choir / CREAVO
As children grow into the program, there are definitely techniques to learning how to drill music. It starts with taking small phrases....phrase by phrase.....and drilling like you would math problems....over and over 10-20 times each day adding on a new drill phrases daily. Let's call it "DRILL FUN!" The reason I say "drill fun" is because the kids who learn how to love and think "fun" for drilling will have a life skill of loving that for everything they learn in their future. Below you will find the current seasonal repertoire for Concert Choir and CREAVO levels. Due to differences in operating systems, browsers, settings, phones and tablets, each song is offered in three different file types. Please select the file type that best suits your needs and system.
Solo auditions are held the 3rd week of October for Fall Semester and the 3rd week of March for Spring. Only CC Level 2 members are eligible to receive solos, however CC Level 1 members are encouraged to audition for practice.

which songs should be practiced each week:
Week of 3/5 - Nature Boy + We Pray Sanctus
Week of 3/12 - The Sound of Silence + Siyahamba
Week of 3/19 - Ma Navu + Oh Happy Day + Dodi Li
Week of 3/26 - Down To The River To Pray + Eleanor Rigby
Week of 4/2 - Just Be + Ain't No Mountain High Enough

New this season: ALL CC II members are required to audition for experience! You must only submit a soloist commitment form if you wish to be considered for a solo this season.
Forms must be submitted the day of auditions, or you will forfeit consideration for a solo. NO exceptions!
